Private Voice Lessons

Personalized one-on-one instruction tailored to your voice and your goals. All grounded in vocal science and vocal health.

45 & 60 min

Session Lengths

Private voice lessons are a great way to improve singing at all levels. We are able to address your personal vocal needs on a lesson-to-lesson basis — whether that's a specific genre, audition prep, or building technique that will serve you for life.

Each lesson is designed
around you

No two students have the same voice, goals, or learning style — and your lessons will reflect that. Here's a general picture of what a typical session includes.

Warm-Up & Vocal Health

  • Targeted vocal exercises to wake up and prepare your voice
  • Breathing exercises to build breath support and stamina
  • Identifying how your voice feels that day and adjusting accordingly
  • Guidance on vocal hygiene — on and off lesson days

Technique Building

  • Developing consistent, efficient vocal production across your range
  • Working through chest voice, head voice, and mix/middle voice
  • Strengthening register transitions for smooth, connected singing
  • Addressing strain, tension, or habits limiting your voice

Repertoire & Applied Skills

Cumulative growth,
milestone by milestone

Progress in singing is cumulative. You will develop skills that build on one another over time. To support your growth, we will:

  • Set short-term and long-term goals together at the start of our work
  • Revisit and adjust goals as you grow and your interests evolve
  • Record exercises and practice material so you can work confidently at home
  • Celebrate every breakthrough, big or small!

A Note for Parents

Students of all ages thrive in a supportive, low-pressure environment. The key is to keep them engaged and excited about music through age-appropriate technique, imaginative learning strategies, and repertoire that they are genuinely interested in. Parent check-ins are always welcome.

Practice at home

Growth happens in the practice room. Each week you will leave with:

  • A clear set of exercises to reinforce what we worked on
  • Specific notes on what to focus on in your repertoire
  • Guidance on how long and how often to practice

Even 10-15 focused minutes a day makes a significant difference. Quality always beats quantity when it comes to vocal practice.
