Tracking Your Progress
Cumulative growth,
milestone by milestone
Progress in singing is cumulative. You will develop skills that build on one another over time. To support your growth, we will:
- Set short-term and long-term goals together at the start of our work
- Revisit and adjust goals as you grow and your interests evolve
- Record exercises and practice material so you can work confidently at home
- Celebrate every breakthrough, big or small!
A Note for Parents
Students of all ages thrive in a supportive, low-pressure environment. The key is to keep them engaged and excited about music through age-appropriate technique, imaginative learning strategies, and repertoire that they are genuinely interested in. Parent check-ins are always welcome.
Between Lessons
Practice at home
Growth happens in the practice room. Each week you will leave with:
- A clear set of exercises to reinforce what we worked on
- Specific notes on what to focus on in your repertoire
- Guidance on how long and how often to practice
Even 10-15 focused minutes a day makes a significant difference. Quality always beats quantity when it comes to vocal practice.
